LOCATION

Our school is in Arroyo de la Luz, a town where  about 7000 inhabitants live. Arroyo de la Luz is in Extremadura, an autonomous region in the west of Spain. It is 18 Km far from Cáceres, the capital city of the northern province.
Our students come from Arroyo de la Luz (80%) and Aliseda (20%), a small village 18 Km far from Arroyo.

The most remarkable place in Arroyo de la Luz is the church of La Asunción. The paintings of the altarpiece were made by Luis de Morales. The name of our school comes from this Spanish painter, who lived in the 16th century.

Building is the main economic activity in the area. There are also people working in agriculture and cattle raising. Some factories transform products like pork meat and cork, and some workshops preserve the old tradition in pottery.
